The journey began in March 2023 when our founder, Zachary Myers, started repairing and reselling Chromebooks. He originally threw the broken parts in the trash, but eventually discovered that you could recycle this stuff. This discovery led to the official launch of SellYourBoards.com, which has one simple mission: Contribute to a cleaner planet by responsibly recycling e-waste.

Every year, billions of pounds of electronic waste (e-waste) are generated. That means billions of pounds need to be recycled, and billions of dollars are waiting to be recovered.

But we can't do it alone. We need your help.

Only 25% of e-waste gets recycled properly, which means 75% of it gets thrown in the trash. People are willing to give e-waste away for free all the time. Get your name out there and ask for it. You'd be surprised how much you find.
